Things to remember
The area surrounding Island Buenavista is a marine protected area, as declared by the city government of Samal and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
Note: Diving is pre-arranged. Let the management know at least seven (7) days before your intended stay if you wish to go diving. They will book a divemaster for your diving pleasure upon your request.
Venture to Davao del Norte
The jump-off point to the Island Buenavista is Davao City. Major airlines fly daily to Davao City from Manila and Cebu.
To Island Buenavista:
From Davao International Airport, the trip to the Island will take approximately an hour. A van will pick you up from the airport and take you to the Sasa Wharf, where a ferry or barge will take you to the Island Buenavista. (Transfers are included in the packages.)
