A modern tropical vacation spot situated in Sitio Wain, Brgy. Biaan Mariveles, Bataan, Camaya Coast is definitely a new tourist destination that boasts commercial and residential developments which includes six subdivisions. It is being promoted as the “Little Boracay of Bataan” by its developer.


It is a 350 hectare development which is owned and being developed by Earth and Leisure Communities, spearheaded by President and CEO Manel Carlos Ilagan Jr. The name of the resort came from the original name of the town of Mariveles, “Camaya”.

As an emerging vacation destination, Camaya Coast is moored on eco-tourism leisure concept along the shoreline of Mariveles, Bataan. It is blessed with natural white sand beaches and a grandiose view of the West Philippine Sea (also known as the South China Sea). It also has a lush forest and rolling hills.

The coast is also designated for the preservation of nature amid the ongoing development. As what their website says, “Camaya Coast will feature the best seaside living with a variety of water sports and resort facilities.”

Currently, the area holds an infinity swimming pool, a restaurant, a boutique hotel and an event hall. The boutique hotel’s exterior resembles the architecture of Miami Florida while its interior has an Asian contemporary look.

It is expected that Camaya Coast had a huge tourist potential because it is more accessible than any other attractions in the region. It is just a two-hour ride from Metro Manila and a one hour ferry trip from Roxas Boulevard. The resort is another must-see destination.

How to get there:

By Sea – Take a one and a half hour ferry trip going to Calayan Coast at Suncruise Ferry Terminal beside Jumbo Palace CCP Complex, Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City.

By Land – If you have a private vehicle, take North Luzon Expressway (NLEX). About 50 meters after the Dau exit take the Subic–Clark–Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX). From SCTEX, head towards Subic and Eexict Dinalpihan to the Roman Superhighway.

Turn right upon exit of the SCTEX and follow the Roman Superhighway to Mariveles Bataan Economic Zone Authority (BEZA). From Beza, you can: continue on until you reach Camaya Coast via Bagac-Mariveles Road or get on board the Camaya Cove Hopper for a 15 minute cruise along the Camaya Coastline.
