Situated in Sitio Masao, Barangay Tamisan, Mati City is a popular destination that is frequently visited by tourists and foreigners alike. It is the Cinco Masao Beach Resort that is located along the shoreline of Pujada Bay.The owner of the resort is Mr. Vic Cinco, he started its operation in 2001 and since then, the beach became known among the tourists.


 The resort is different from other beach resort; it has a unique long row of red-roofed cottages that stands near the bay where one can have a stunning view of the surrounding calm waters. One can also have a breathtaking view of the mountains that encircles the Pujada Bay.

Cinco Masao Beach Resort is the perfect escapade to have and bond with your family, friends or colleagues. It is a place where you can enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of the nature.

The resort offers twenty gorgeously designed cottages, ten guest rooms, one function hall and four air-conditioned rooms. They also have a restaurant that provides sumptuous and luscious dishes. One can also buy some memorabilia at the souvenir shop.

If you want to go on an island hopping to nearby islands such as Waniban, Pujada and Oak island, the resort offers motorized boats that can be hired.

How to get there

From Manila or Cebu, tourists can take a flight to Davao City. From Davao City’s Ecoland Terminal, one can take a bus bound for Mati City. There are air-conditioned buses that will cost you around 250 pesos and the travel time is about 3.5 hours to 4 hours. From the town center, take a tricycle or a habal-habal going to the resort.
