Pristine beaches, systems of waterfalls, historical landmarks, old churches, and cultural heritage of the province are only few of the reasons why many travelers love the place. Dunsulan Falls is one of its proudest attractions.

Here are five reasons why the falls is a perfect getaway and a must-see destination when you are in Bataan.

  1. The five-meter-high and 40-feet-deep Dunsulan Falls is a good place to commune with nature. The whole place is serene and beautiful, with different shades of green and brown – the lovely colors of nature.
  2. Though the falls is not ideal to swim, it is actually one of the most photographed falls in Bataan which is flocked by many tourists every year. There is an entrance fee but it is quite cheap exchange to a worth trek to the falls.
  3. During the peak of summer, families and travelers flock to this place for vacation. It is a good place to spend leisure time together with your families, friends, or loved ones.
  4. Tourists can do other activities like ziplining and horseback riding. It will give you a pleasurable trip with a breathtakingly view of Mt. Samat along the way.
  5. A journey to Dunsulan Falls is just an easy ride. From Mt. Samat, it is only 15 to 20 minutes. The road is quite narrow and you can venture also the falls on foot with a splendid view of the province.

Going to Bataan

Bataan is accessible by riding a bus from Manila, like Genesis, Bataan Transit, Sinulog, and Victory Liner. The fare usually ranges from 150-200 pesos depending on your destination.

From NLEX (North Luzon Express Way), you will pass through the San Fernando Exit, Sta. Cruz-Lubao, then Layak Junction, and Abucay Junction. From there, you just have to ride a jeep or tricycle going to the church.

Tricycles and jeepneys are the main transport in getting around Bataan.
