For Surfers

Baler is rich in natural resources and offers a wide array of adventurous activities best suited for adventure and thrill seekers. Touted as the "birthplace of surfing in the Philippines," it is host to spectacular geographic formations and is situated on a vast plain at the south end of Baler Bay, a contiguous segment of the Philippine Sea. Nine-foot (2.7 m) waves serve as Baler's main tourist asset, attracting hundreds of surfers during the surfing season from September to February. Sabang Beach is one of the famous surfing destinations in Baler and has become the prime surfing site of the Philippines.

For Island Hoppers

One of the best ways to love Baler is just by having a walk around the lush landscape and breathe in the cool, fresh air. Baler Bay is the perfect destination where one will enjoy the dazzling waves and breathtaking rock formations. One particular attraction is Diguisit waterfalls that can be hiked on one side of the road. The falls is the best spot to take a quick breather, drink, or refreshing dip.

Finally, don’t forget to visit the replica of Aurora Quezon's ancestral house.
