Isla Reta Beach Behind Samal Island

Do you want a perfect getaway this summer? Or finding a total relaxation to escape from the heat of the summer? Head up now to the one of the proudest beaches of Samal – Isla Reta Beach – located in Talicud Island, just behind the Samal Island.

More than a Beach…

Like the other splendid islands that comprise the Philippine archipelago, Isla Reta beach is a stretch of white sand beaches and crystal clear water. I have here some of the suggested best things-to-do while you are in this paradise!

  • Don’t forget to bring camera! The whole environment should be captured. There are some sites which are good to be photographed but the most finest to captured are the minutes of your tour while you are in the island.
  • There are lots of restaurants abounded in the island but I advise you to bring your own foods. The price is 50% more than the city rates. Aside from that, swimming was really exhausting! You may felt hungry most of the time.
  • If you want to explore the surroundings, you can have a walk around and just breathe the cool and fresh air. You can enjoy stroll with its rocky portion and explore colorful corals and marine life in the area. There are also sea urchins present on the beach. Just keep your feet away from them.
  • Together with your dearest ones, the island is perfect to spend siesta time. Here, one can sleep on a tent or small huts. Listening to the chirping of the birds is a relaxing one too.

Talicud Island

Your whole day to Isla Reta Beach will surely leave an impression to every visitor. One can enjoy its beauty in many ways! It is a worthwhile trip together with your love ones! The island is definitely a good stuff that might happen once in a lifetime.

How to get there

You can fly direct to Davao City. The Island Resort is just a 45 minute trip if you are coming from the Davao City Sta. Ana wharf.

Getting around: The common modes of public transportation in Davao are multicabs, jeepneys, tricycles, buses, and taxis. Multicabs and jeepneys ply 82 designated passenger vehicle routes around the clock. Tricycles ply the routes that are outside the main streets of the city. Taxis have several routes in and outside Davao City. In mountainous areas, the habal-habal passenger motorcycle is the main mode of transportation.
