Bailes de Luces is a week-long celebration starts in the 30th day of December and ends in the 5th day of January where the highlight of the celebration occurs. The festival is usually held at night and one of the unique features is that they use lights or luces as props and adornment for the nocturnal celebration of the festival, which is the street dancing.

In one of the articles in https://www.bubblews.com, it describes in amazing detail in words and pictures how this year's Bailes De Luces Festival proceeded. The week-long celebration is associated with dances, parades, and other events. The best part of the festival is the street dancing where the participants come from different barangays and schools. They are clad with colorful and glistening lights that are perfect for the night celebration. One thing that is much awaited for the viewers is the performance of the last 2012 Grand Finalist of a local TV noontime show "IT'S SHOWTIME!”

The artistic display of lights and its beautiful interplay is definitely a treat for the many visitors who witness the outstanding celebration. You will not be disappointed in the wonderful performances that the people proudly bring. The street dancing competition is followed by the blazing fireworks display accompanying the night-long merrymaking and dancing.

One of the audiences of the Bailes de Luces festival said “My words can't explain the beauty of their dances as their lights dance in the darkness too. I've seen this festival twice but I can't help not to watch it every year. I am so grateful that I was there on their 15th Bailes de Luces Festival 2013.”

Bailes De Luces Festival is a conceptualization of hope and thanksgiving for the blessings received in the previous year. It is also the town’s celebration of its Charter Day and a befitting culmination of the Christmas season. Help promote this one-of-a-kind festival by visiting and telling everyone you know about it.  It is an event worthy of admiration and a spectacle everyone can be proud of.
