Being one of the hottest destinations today in Northern Palawan, Lamud Island Resort in Lamud Island is a slice of paradise to anyone who visits it. This island is one of the treasures in Palawan that are just waiting to be discovered and for you to appreciate the other wonderfully-made creations of God.

Lamud Island Resort is a 14 hectare set fronting a pristine beach and against a backdrop of tropical forest. Restaurants, lodgings and a dive shop are some of the resort’s facilities. Lamud Island's dive shop carries a full range of modern and professionally maintained dive equipment for your use, including wetsuits, BCDs, regulators, masks, fins, gauges, and tanks.

Lamud Island Resort is the perfect location for those seeking an introduction to diving or to advance their current level of training and skills. Fun and easy introduction dives are offered as well as a large range of PADI courses. Situated in waters between the South China Sea and the Sulu Sea, Lamud Island has a rich marine life best for diving destinations. It has easy access to a host of excellent diving and snorkeling spots, including spectacular coral reefs and a dozen shipwrecks including Japanese wrecks from World War II. Lamud Island includes many naturally protected bays and reefs hidden amongst dozens of islands. It is also home to some of the endangered species like green sea turtles and giant clams.

Enjoy Filipino and European Cuisine at the Island Restaurant. Fresh fish, meats, fruits and vegetables as well as vegetarian meals are all available for your dining pleasure; the hardest part will be sticking to your diet. Just relax and enjoy the sunsets with a cool drink on the terrace or at the waterside bar. The resort bar stocks a variety of local and imported drinks, liquor and juices. Among the favorites are Fruit Cocktails made with Filipino Tanduay Rum, and of course ice cold San Miguel Beer.

How to get there

Access to Lamud Island Resort is made convenient with daily 1 hour flights between Busuanga and Manila, as well as a weekly ferry which makes the trip in 12 hours. Guests can also be picked up from anywhere on Busuanga Island, the most popular pick up spots being Coron town, which is a 1 1/2 hour boat ride from Lamud through a spectacular inter-island passage, and Concepcion town, less than a 30 minute boat trip away.
