Miss Philippines Earth is one of the most anticipated pageants in the Philippines. Last May 19, 2013, Miss Philippines Earth 2013 Coronation Night was held at the at the Mall of Asia Arena, Pasay City. It was organized and commenced by Carousel Productions Inc. together with Miss Earth Foundation, aiming to give a strong emphasis on environmental awareness programs. The pageant has aligned itself with the 2013 declaration of the United Nations General Assembly as the "International Year of Water Cooperation."

Ms. Angelee Claudett delos Reyes of Olongapo City was crowned as the new Miss Philippines Earth 2013 over 47 other contestants. After joining the Miss Philippines-Earth 2009 (Ms. Talent) and Binibining Pilipinas 2012 (Top 12), Ms. Angelee finally made it. She was named Miss Philippines Earth 2013. Her defeat and experience helped her to become strong and successful.

Along with her title is the responsibility to become the ambassadress of the environmental protection campaigns in the Philippines.

Stephany Stefanowitz, Miss Philippines Earth 2012, was present in the most awaited coronation night to crown her successor.

Ms. delos Reyes was born on October 14, 1987 in Olongapo City. The 25-year-old Olongapo sweetheart is a registered nurse graduate at the Columban College. She is currently working as a Public Information Officer at the Subic Bay Metropolitan Development Authority.

Claudette is a beauty pageant veteran joining various beauty contests including Miss Columban College 2004, Miss Private School Athletic Association 2005 (2nd Runner-up), Bb. Zambales 2007, Mutya ng Pilipinas 2007 top 15 finalist, Bb. Olongapo 2008, Miss Real Estate Philippines Best in Swimsuit, Hiyas ng Subic (non-semifinalist), Miss Philippines-Earth Miss Talent 2009 and Slimmer's World Miss Bikini Philippines 2011.

This year, Ms. Angelee is set to compete representing the Philippines in the upcoming Miss Earth pageant, one of the largest international beauty pageants.
