Spending Some Time at Balatero Beach

Have you heard of a beach that has a perfect combination of sand, water, trees, and skies above? If you have been to Puerto Galera and you lost the chance to see Balatero Beach, you missed half of your life. Yes, it is true. This is one spot in Puerto Galera that is truly a sight to behold.

Do you want to see a sapphire firmament covering the immaculate sea? Based on the tourists of the sea, that is the best words to describe the beauty of the beach.  A promenade at the beach will give you a simple pleasure that only nature can afford to give. Hearing the sounds of the wind and the chirping of the birds adds to the meditative setting of the beach.

Balatero beach might be not as elegant compare to the beaches of Boracay, but it can give you one of the best experiences for a lifetime. If you want to unwind, commune with nature, and rejuvenate, then you have found a perfect place at Balatero.

Tourism at Balatero

Through the years, Balatero Beach has been a favorite destination for many travelers. Actually, when getting to Puerto Galera, the beach is one of the major ternaries. And because of this reason, there has been rapid growth in the number of cottages and resorts in the area. The good thing is that the price of these resorts is still reasonable and are always exerting their best efforts to give the best and finest services.

How to get there

The beach is located in the rustic town of Baletero. If you are coming from somewhere else, the cost of the jeepney or tricycle ride will probably be at least 50 Php or more.

Oriental Mindoro can be reached through land and sea transport. From Manila, take the Batangas-Laguna-Tayabas (BLTB), Tritran, and other Batangas-bound buses to the Batangas City pier. From there, take the super ferry boats bound for Calapan, which has several trips per day, or those bound for Puerto Galera. A roll-on-roll-off (RO-RO) ferry is convenient for those wishing to take their private vehicles.

In Mindoro Oriental, a number of jeepneys ply the capital from the neighboring towns and to the interior.
