Sutukil: Your Next Seafood Destination

Have you ever tasted the best seafoods ever? If not, then head up now to the beautiful island of Cebu where the tastiest seafood is found – the Sutukil.

Sutukil stands for “Sugba, Tula, Kilaw” which are some of the traditional method of cooking either a fish or pork or any other seafood. Sugba means "to grill", tuwa is "to make into a soup", and kil is a variation of kilaw which means "fish served raw in a salad". In Cebu, there are several restaurants that offer Sutukil. Upon entering the Sutukil area, you just have to choose in an array kind of fish and have it Sutukil or any manner of cooking you want for a single fish. Manna Restaurant Sutukil is one of the best Sutukil restaurants in Cebu City.

Delicious Dinner…

Sutukil is a common sight when driving around Cebu City. It is one of the reasons why travelers, local and foreign alike, find Mactan an irresistible place. It not only holds the landmarks of Cebu history, but also it is a place where good food and sutukil restaurants abound.

Happy Sutukil trip!

How to Get There

By air, from Manila, there are daily flights going to Cebu City. By sea, Cebu City's domestic port is the country's busiest. Cebu City is home to almost 80 percent of the country's passenger vessels. The country's largest shipping lines, namely WG&A, Sulpicio Lines, Trans-Asia, George & Peter Lines and Lorenzo Shipping Lines, are headquartered in Cebu. Large passenger ferries with a capacity of 2,000 to 4,000 passengers ply the more distant routes such as Manila, Davao, Butuan City, Zamboanga, and Cagayan de Oro.
