The Metro Manila Film Festival: The Parade of Stars 2012


The 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival was held on December 23, 2012, Sunday, instead of December 25. The Parade started at the Quirino Grandstand about 2 o’clock and ended at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds.

The parade is the highlight of the  festival where each entry will have an ostentatious and fabulous float. Each of it has a theme depending on their movies.  

The 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival was held on December 23, 2012, Sunday, instead of December 25. The Parade started at the Quirino Grandstand about 2 o’clock and ended at the SM Mall of Asia Grounds.

The MMFF movies were shown nationwide in theaters on Christmas Day until January.

The fabulous parade of the MMFF started in front of Quirino Grandstand, turned left at T.M Kalaw going to Roxas Blvd., turned right at Buendia Ave., again turned left at Macapagal Ave., right at Seaside Blvd., left turn at Jose Diokno Blvd., then right turn at Harbor Drive. The parade ended at SM Mall of Asia Grounds.

The 38th Metro Manila Film Festival Awards Night was held at the Meralco Theater in Ortigas Center, Pasig City on December 27th, 2012.
