Aside from Kayangan Lake, the fascinating island of Coron is also home to the famous Twin Lagoon. This are two lagoons divided by a huge wall of limestone wall, and the only way to get to the other lagoon was to either swim through the hole or climb the wooden stairs.

Aside from Kayangan Lake, the fascinating island of Coron is also home to the famous Twin Lagoon. This are two lagoons divided by a huge wall of limestone wall, and the only way to get to the other lagoon was to either swim through the hole or climb the wooden stairs.

Twin Lagoons is located in the largest limestone formation which is called the Calis Mountain, actually the Coron Island. Daring to swim into a small underwater tunnel to cross from one lagoon to another is an unforgettable adventure for guests. It's best to swim with your life vest on since it gets really deep in some parts. Scuba diving introduction sometimes takes place here.

How to get there

Coron is the largest town in the Calamian Group off the coast of Northern Palawan. Located about 300 kilometers southwest of Manila, Coron is accessible via air and sea transportation. Airlines that serve Coron via multiple daily flights between Manila and Francisco Reyes Airport in Busuanga include Cebu Pacific, Airphil Express, and Zest Air. It takes about 55 minutes to 1 hour to reach Busuanga from Manila. The airport is located about 28 kilometers from Coron town or approximately 45 minutes by land transfer. Upon arriving at Busuanga Airport, there are vans ready to take you to the town proper.

Coron can also be reached via ferry. WG&A Super Ferry has weekly trips between Manila and Coron. The ferry stops at Coron on its way to Puerto Princesa City. The trip at sea takes about 12 hours.
