Bega Falls can be found in the province of Agusan del Sur, in Barangay Mabuhay in the City of Prosperidad. It is the hidden treasure of the province. The waterfall is surrounded by the abundant greenery of Agusan del Sur's forests and mountain. The waterfall is a three-tiered falls and is truly a sight to behold.

The water appears to have a turquoise green color, but it is really clear and clean. The area is very relaxing and soothing. The place possesses an exotic enchantment of a jungle paradise.

According to the townsfolk, especially the older ones, Bega Falls is the home of beautiful mystical women.

The trek will just take an hour.  It has access to the road. While trekking going to the falls you can see exotic hanging ornamental plants along the wayto the area and you will meet 18 falls, thick forests and wild birds before you reach Bega Falls.

It is part of the Barangay Mabuhay and more or less five kilometers the barangay.

How to get there

The province can be accessed through the Davao-Butuan National Highway. Local airline companies have flights to Davao and Butuan from Manila.
