Hailed as the most child-friendly resort in Tagum City, it is situated within a 760-hectare banana plantation owned by Hijo Resources Corporation located in Brgy. Madaum, Tagum City, Davao del Norte. It has a coastline beach that spans 4.5 kilometers and the only beach resort in the area that offers great quality of fun that guests will surely enjoy.

The resort provides guests with popular water activities like banana boating, kayaking, skimboarding, paddle boarding and trampoline jumping. The swimmers in the area are also in the watchful eyes of the lifeguards to ensure their safety. As the most child-friendly resort in Tagum City, the resort maintains a playground for children. As for the adults, they can enjoy fishing on The Spot”.

Banana Beach also provides fun and games like beach volleyball and ultimate frisbee. It also has its own bar and restaurant where visitors can savor the rich taste of local dishes of Tagum City. They can also enjoy the Banana Beach Swimming Pool which features a sunken bar where guests can enjoy a cool tropical drink while submerged in the pool.

1.       River Tour:

Nature trips are best enjoyed at the Banana Beach. Bask in the beauty of Hijo’s private Forest as you take a leisurely walk on the hanging bridges and observe packs of Philippine macaques (monkeys) roaming the area.

3.     Orchard Tour:

Pick a variety of in season fruits at the Orchard like Durian, Mangosteen, Lanzones, Pomelo, and Rambutan. A unique escape that can only be found in Banana Beach, a unique Davao Resort.

4.    Plantation Tour:

Enrich your mind as you learn the artistry of growing bananas and harvesting coconuts at the plantation. Learn and understand the research and meticulous process behind each Hijo’s Twin Rivers product.

5.      Twilight Safari Tour:

Excite your senses as you explore Hijo’s forest at twilight, in search for wild boars at their natural habitat. A tour that is only available in an exciting Davao Beach Resort, the Banana Beach.

 6.     Trading Post Tour:

Purchase newly-harvested bananas (lacatan and latundan) and other local fruits that are in season. Hijo’s Twin Rivers products (Coco Sugar, Coco Syrup, and Calamansi Pureé) are also available here.

The resort offers accommodations that guests will surely love: the tropical themed casitas, villas and tea houses where they can stay, rest, and fully immerse in nature’s awe-inspiring beauty. The Casitas are native-inspired accommodations where guests can stay for day use or overnight stay; the rate is between P2,800 – P4,500. There are also Air-Conditioned Casitas with a rate of P5,000 – P6,000 for 2 to 4 persons. Guests who want to enjoy the cool breeze coming from the seawater can stay in the open-air Family Tea House which cost P1,200 – 2,500 per unit and for day use only.

Another exciting offer of the Banana Beach Resort is the packages tailored for the guests. The Day Package which costs P1,200 – 1,500 per head with a minimum of 8 persons can take tours of their choice; it can be Forest Tour or Plantation Tour. The Day Package also includes welcome drinks and lunch with an unlimited use of infinity pool.  There are also affordable package which the Banana Beach Resort offers like the Consumable Pass with a standard rate of P750 per head but if you’re a resident of Davao del Norte and Comval, you can get the pass for P500. The Consumable Pass is valid for one whole day where guests can enjoy the unlimited use of infinity pool and its fully consumable pass on food and drinks, activities, equipment & other facilities.

The resort also offers package on "The Spot" which visitors can rent a fishing hut for P1,200 in a day, inclusive of two fishing rods. The resort will charge guests in every fish caught per kilo; Bangus and Kitang costs P280 per kilo while Lapu-lapu and Talakitok cost P350 per kilo. Visitors should not worry about the cooking charge because it’s free. 

Tourists or visitors who want to enjoy the cool activities in the Resort can go there by taking a 15-minute drive from Tagum City. From Davao City, visitors can take a 1-hour ride going to Banana Beach Resort at Barangay Madaum. Guests will surely enjoy Banana Beach Resort’s piece of paradise because it is immersed in natural beauty which features a lush forest rich in mangroves and the extraordinary getaway will rejuvenate our mind and body.

Maybe it has no white beach but visitors will surely enjoy the quality of fun that they will experience.
