The idyllic province of Antique has Mt. Madia-as, one of the most challenging mountains to climb in Western Visayas. It is considered the highest mountain on the island, a dormant volcano adorned with several lakes and showcases more than a dozen scenic waterfalls. Its peak is always shrouded with clouds, but the mountain can be seen during clear weather and in the late afternoons.
