Touted as the “Fireworks Capital of the Philippines,” Bocaue has been known throughout the country because of its fireworks industry that has been frequented by thousands of buyers every year. One of the favored venues for camping and other outdoor activities in Marilao is Camp Nathaniel in Barangay Sta. Rosa II. A private property owned by Mayor Epifanio V. Guillermo covering four hectares, Camp Nathaniel was named after his late son, Nathaniel R. Guillermo. Mayor Peping started to develop the place into a camping site back in 2005 and was used as the site of the first Marilao District Camporette in February of 2006. It has since then become a favorite destination for camping, scouting, picnics and other outdoor activities. Planted with more than a thousand fruit-bearing trees and a wide variety of vegetable plants, the place appeals to the adventurous spirits and nature lovers as it offers many pleasurable explorations.

The National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Marilao, Bulacan is a church dedicated to the Divine Mercy in the Philippines. It was elevated to the status of a National Shrine by Archbishop Orlando Quevedo of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines. The first Eucharist was celebrated at this site on February 2, 1992, during the Feast of the presentation of our Lady.

It is the second SM Supermall in the Bulacan Province after SM City Marilao, the 3rd and last SM Mall among the company's expansion in 2008 and the 33rd SM Mall in the list. The mall is located at DRT Highway, Brgy. Pagala, Baliwag, Bulacan. It opened on December 12, 2008, which features anchors like the SM Department Store, SM Hypermarket, SM Cinemas, Food Court and other anchors like the SM Appliance Center, Watsons Drugstore, and a games arcade.
