Liliw is a town in the province of Laguna which is situated in the southern edge of the province. The town is known for its native homemade sweets, cold water spring resorts and a shoe industry that rivals Marikina City. The place is nestled at the foot of Mt. Banahaw which is the source of the cold water springs.

The small town is also called “ the shoe capital of Laguna” and tourists flock the town just to buy some affordable and high quality footwear. Apart from buying some adorable footwear, one can can explore Liliw’s marvelous natural cold spring resorts and one of these is the Liliw Resort.


The resort offers affordable cottages where one can dine and cook. It also has a sink, toilet, bath and beds. One can enjoy the simple, untouched, quiet and cool environment the place. Tourists who are tired of the busy city life and want a refreshing vacation to enjoy then this is the perfect place to be relaxed.

Tourist can enjoy the cool streams of water and swim in the cold spring that flows from Mt. Banahaw and have a wonderful view of the nature itself. One can also have a recollection here with spiritually and relax the mind, body and soul.

The luscious green scenery will welcome you in this wonderful destination. The resort has two primary pools where visitors can have a splash. The water that came from the pool floods onto another layer making some sort of smaller-falls. Visitors should be aware of the rocky surface, especially  children.

Upon going to the resort, there is an entrance fee of fifty pesos. For children, it’s free to enter the resort unless an adult accompanies you. There is also a parking fee of twenty pesos for those who are bringing their vehicle. The picnic huts are available for rent and will cost you four-hundred pesos. There are also available refreshments for sale.

How to get there:
 
From Manila, tourists who want to have a vacation on Liliw Resort can ride a bus bound for Sta Cruz, Laguna. You can check HM Transport, Inc (HMT) in Cubao whose terminal is situated on Monte de Piedad St, near EDSA. 

Ask the bus attendant to drop off at the HMT Sta. Cruz terminal. From there, you can wait for a jeep that directly goes to Liliw. The total cost for this trip from Manila to Liliw is around two hundred pesos (Cubao to Sta. Cruz is around P148.50 and Sta. Cruz to Liliw is around P30).
